@orhganic Ng Wei Jie

This week I decided to write about an Instagrammer. His name is Ng Wei Jie, he is an undergrad in Singapore and is a famous and recognised Instagrammer. He plays with monochromatic colours and does something unique. His images consist of structures and buildings to form the outline of the subject. He plays with juxtaposition to also keep his followers questioning what are his true intentions.

Ng Wei Jie cuts his images up to form a larger picture when viewed from his home page. Thus, creating a unique image when seen from afar. This is a very difficult method of Instagram photography on Instagram as you have to meticulously post images in its specific order. One picture off and the whole account will look weird. Plus, he has to ensure that the single image he posts has to be engaging enough. He has to concentrate not only on forming the larger image but also the smaller ones. Here are some of his work.
Photography is ever changing and more and more people are taking their photographic creativity to Instagram. I believe Instagram is the future of photography. No longer is it the point the shoot, but rather the edits and designs that make a picture stand out.
